A downloadable game for Windows

About the game

Step into Bloom, a heartfelt journey of life, growth, and transformation. Begin as a drifting dandelion seed, landing on a barren planet where you awaken as a curious, vulnerable being. Spread the seeds of dazzling musical flowers, bringing vibrant life to desolate landscapes. Learn their melodies, let your voice sprout blossoms, and forge a path to the heart of each world. In this whimsical tale of innocence and renewal, discover the beauty of letting go and blooming anew.

The Premise:

Players journey across small, moon-shaped planets, solving tactile puzzles and engaging with sound to bring life back to desolate ecosystems. Built with simplicity and creativity at its core, Bloom offers a cozy, artistic and musical-driven experience for players looking to explore, interact, and grow alongside the world they restore.

Bloom was made in 6 weeks during DADIU (The National Academy of Digital, Interactive Entertainment), a collaboration between Danish educational institutions that simulates the development process of a game studio.

Ahhhh, what a wonderful gaming experience! It was so nice to look for flowers on a planet where I could feel the clear space on my skin!

There is no language, but it was fun to understand the rules and no-no's of planting seeds.

The rhythm game part at the end was very difficult to get the timing right!

But a very nice and recommended work, meow~! 🌼✨️

I think it would be fun to experience this world in a VR space as a work of art.

Thank you for the play-through! It's always hard to balance a game like this, so it's always a refreshing sight to see someone fit right into the little world we created.

This game is honestly amazing and really good gameplay , not that hard but no easy
But the graphic here is really high and really laggy for low-end pc like me. I can barely run the game btw so I suggest you making an option for low graphic in the setting
And by turning it on , it will :
- Remove the star in the background
-Remove Glow (make the color solid)
-Remove Shadow
etc . . .
-Overall this game is great , just not for low performace pc . Please take this advice as a grain of salt. Hope you have a nice day !

Thanks for playing and your feedback! When we were in the making-of, we had a target architecture for the project, so we unfortunately did disregard lower end devices. Though, you make good points about the quality.

If we ever do a redux, we'll have you covered (or you will have already upgraded by that time haha)
